'Cosmic Love' was a joke title, but it stuck. The most hungover I’ve ever been when writing a song. I went to [Isabella Summers'] studio after having been to a party, and I was lying on the floor wanting to vomit. **** **** ****! No "Smile" or "Cosmic Love" in the top ten?! I am dying right now. I mean, ****ing "Valerie" made it. Ugh...
The eliminations of "Chasing Pavement" and "Love is a Losing Game" are sad, but feel appropriate at this stage. This rate gave me a new, greater appreciation for both, so it was great to see them do so well.
Glad to see "Set Fire to the Rain" and "Mercy" finally go. I like the songs, but neither one really moves me. I don't think they belonged in the top twenty.
