I'm happy to report that this is probably doubtful! He will probably be the first American Idol winner (aside from Ruben, but that was because Clay beat him out) to not get a #1. For all those debuts, iTunes sales were nonexistant or marginally smaller than they are today, and he is not receiving enough airplay or even selling that well (on iTunes) to push him to #1. I don't see it happening.... thank god

^ In all likeliness, Nelly Furtado will probably be #1 next week considering she returned to #1 on iTunes, her airplay is still growing heavily and Shakira's isnt, and the fact that the single was released this week, I think it's very likely "Promiscuous" will be #1 next week.

well HDD predicted he we sell 150k physical singles.... he pobably sells around 30k digital ........ that would be 180k easy eanough to be #1 ...... if HDD is whrong and he dosent then shakira will be #1 next week again ...i doubt it tho

In the other hand, looks like Christina will have a 19-15 move. It will take her a couple more weeks to get to the top10. And if the remix doesn't help in the urban stations, her peak will be around #8.

Seems like Beyoncé will debut in the 40's just with airplay, which is quite good.

shakira has 125 M with latin stations ..... and both nelly and shak seem to sell 100k downloads this week .......so shakira will most likely be #2 unless Taylor dosent sell what he was expected .... i doubt it with his crazy fans buying 50 singles each just so he be #1
