Tragic Kingdom, World Go Round, Hey You, You Can Do It, are all filler imo.

Hey You is such an awesome song, my heart can't take! And TK is definitely not a filler track. That track has so much passion behind it, it's the theme of the whole album... it's about all the change going on around their old home in Anaheim, with corporate Disney coming in and taking over. Everything about their beautiful past had changed. their kingdom was lost

I do like the lyrics... idk I'm just not a fan of a lot of the album tracks.
I think most people just assume its their "best" album because it sold the most copies.

Yeah it's the success that gets people saying that, but I really do love the album's quality.
Actually Beacon Street, the one TK overshadowed, is just as good.

I haven't listened to their first two albums in like....5 years. I can't comment on their quality yet. I know its deemed their "sellout" album but I think Rock Steady is really really good. It's more poppy, but more innovative in my opinion. The song with Prince is just jesus.

Yeah, RS was how I discovered them when I was 8. So it's kind of always going to be a favorite because of that. Waiting Room was never one of my favorite songs on the album, even after I found out Prince was on it. It's nice, but it didn't strike me the way some of the others did.
I remain SEETHING that Making Out was never a single. Like what the **** were they thinking?

For some reason, I always thought it was a single til months ago. It should have been though. It should be interesting where the Gwen solo tracks will end up though. I like some of them but I hope they're not too overrated. The Sweet Escape especially.

Rock Steady is one of the best albums of the 2000s decade. Near flawless album IMO

"The Climb" is absolute perfection. Those vocals. And "Different People" used to be my favorite No Doubt song for the longest.

So I've been wanting to host a rate for awhile. Edge Of Glory, I'd love to host a videography (maybe Madonna?) rate too. I also thought of hosting this:
Legend #1 US Rate: based on US Billboard #1's (worlwide #1 would be an option too but that would significantly less the amount of songs) with Madonna, Whitney, Mariah and Janet.
This would be circa 50 songs to rate so the amount of songs won't be a problem. I don't know if the songs/artists are a little over-rated (as in incorporated in already quite some rates) on here.
I saw in the opening posts some artist rates are still open: I saw Britney (but she has a war already so no) and Beyoncé... I'd be open for those too.

Ace, so I have still not heard anything from Duca. Does that mean I should just start the rate?

I like the argyle background, it's different. I better start thinking of an art concept for my rate! At least I have some time.

Nice graphic, but why are Usher and JT being compared to... him? Seems a little unfair.
