I wouldn't be opposed to them shaking up the formula and setting more of the game in space. Them actually acknowledging the old Mossdeep legends and sending you to space to fight Deoxys was different and pretty cool; the formula has been the same for a long time, so a shakeup of how they manage the setting could be interesting.
Worth noting that space is clearly visible in the logos of both new trademarks.
So I would love for this to be like johto where it's a continuation with another region, like someone said already. That would slay!! But I feel like it might be impossible since Kalos is quite extensive and has a lot of graphic details. (unlike the hoenn remakes).

I don't think this is a mobile game. Why would there be two versions of a mobile game?
