3 million is a lot of people regardless.
Take a look at who made the Top 10: Zendaya. OneRepublic, Sara, Cher Lloyd, Samantha Jade, Kelly Clarkson, the Demi Lovato songs, Lorde and The Cab
These songs, aside from maybe Nightingale, have gotten a lot less exposure than the Ke$ha songs and therefore fit the theme more. Human is from a very recent album that hasn't seen the light by many people yet, Hear Me is from a long forgotten Kelly Clarkson. Not many people know Sara or 1R's song since its overshadowed by Brave and the singles from 1R's era. Zendaya's album tanked and most people only know of Replay from her so this essentially is brand new. The Cab's song is pretty unheard as well unless you participated in ATRL Song Contest. And Samantha's song is from an album she made before she won X Factor but didn't get leaked until after she won. Lightweight is easily overshadowed as well. Nightingale probably deserves to be heard regardless of where it stands. It's more meaningful than Animal and Blind.
So yeah, Ke$ha doesn't stand up to anything in the Top 10.

I think it's still valid though (for the song Animal at least). Kesha is mainly known for her party songs and lots of people think she has no substance in her music. But Animal is a ballad and is the complete opposite of what most people think of her. So yes, I think that it is a song that people need to hear, cos it's a complete different side of her. Even if 3 million people bought the album, that doesn't mean anything about the GP's perception of her.

This is a midtempo, so I can see how it might be something that "needs hearing" when Ke$ha has only released uptempo singles…that being said, of the two Ke$ha songs sent this round I think I enjoyed Blind more 6/10

This was a very odd and polarizing choice, which is probably why you ended up in the Bottom 3. I'm personally not a big fan, but it was unexpected 6/10
