I still have so many of my tragic ex-classmates on Facebook. The girls are ALL either pregnant or already a mother and married to their neighbor, sharing pics of rescued dogs and stuff and I'm sitting here talking about the D and trying to come up with funny captions to random gifs

me and my brother were a grade apart, and my mom didn't feel like shelling out money for 2 yearbooks per year so as a result I only have yearbooks for my senior and sophomore year because my mom would switch between buying a yearbook for me and my brother every year. it's not like I ever get the urge to go flipping through them so it doesn't really matter

bullying is not just physical. social isolation and insults are also bullying, which is largely what happened to me. people flat out refused to be friends with me or talk to me because my classmates created such a bad reputation for me, and so everyone stayed the hell away from me. there was nothing I could do about that

3. my graduation was a happy moment, but it was also pretty boring. we just sat there and waited for like, hours, and since we were seated in alphabetical order a lot of people didn't end up near their friends, so there weren't even that many people talking. it was nice to get our diplomas, but you were on stage for 2 seconds, then walked off and another person took your place. we did get to throw the hat things at the end...except people lost theirs because they ended up under the bleachers

I didn't get bullied in high school but I couldn't imagine ever raising my fists or whatever to someone if I did. Nobody would ever take me seriously.

well the people in my middle school were really good at being hidden, i guess? they didn't throw down in the hallway or whatever, they did stuff like stealing my stuff (one time they stole my gym shorts, which i think is just really weird) and tripping me on "accident" (or pretending they didn't do it at all), things like that. and the thing is, at least in my school district, if you physically fight back you get suspended, and if you're suspended for five days or more in my home county, you get held back, so fighting back really wasn't an option for me.

yeah that was a big part of what made it hard for me too; in middle school, literally no one wanted to be around me, to the point of getting up and moving if i sat near them. the only times they were really seriously physically threatening was when they were in a group and sometimes would hit me when there were enough of them around that i couldn't do anything about it (and again, not doing a huge fight or anything, just enough to hurt), which is why i still get nervous when there's a group of people near me that don't like me.
