The Art of Letting Go has really grown on me after some listens. While a part of me wishes it was more radio friendly like #Beautiful, it's still a quality song with vocals most artists wish they could have I want this album to be super successful but I will still buy it and most likely love it either way so I'm not too concerned.

I've been in the hospital for the last two days and I have to go back tomorrow morning
but I insisted on going home for this very night so I could download Mariah's new song.
I've had meltdowns the entire day because I missed the actual premiere but it's okay now!
I finally got home and listened and I am SLAYED
I'm going to do nothing but listen to this damn song the next days.
This is what we've been waiting for and the album is going to compete with Butterfly. Thank you, Mariah, for helping me through a difficult time with your talents, your voice, your being!
I've been looking at some of her older performances from 1990,and her latest single really took it back to her soulful roots.I think the problem is that we've got some accustomed to "Mimi" and her current pop girl like sexy image, that we forget sometimes how it all started, and for some us it's a shock hearing her so stripped down and back to her basics.
My opinion, but it's definitely a grower.Second listen you totally get the melancholy vibe(especially for those who can't understand her that well, because of fast singing) It SHOULD be relatable to everybody whose ever been in love,a bad relationship, friendship, family members against you. You gotta cut them off sometimes
