Just watched The Babadook and ugh the acclaim is definitely deserved.
Expertly paced, great acting on all parts, the suspense was always there and I really shuddered when
the book turned back up and the phone call
And of course a great message and symbolism
One of the best horror movies of the decade so far
Apparently the director of the latest Carrie remake (the only good Carrie movie) filmed many scenes with more character development, blood/violence, and social media to make the movie it's own new thing and not like the original film but the studio butchered it and edited it as one. There was about 20 or 30 minutes of new footage not even included on the Blu-Ray release.
Watched "Coherence" last night. It isn't really a "horror" flick but it was so suspenseful and I was seriously just mind****ed by it all. I would recommend it.
There is a new Halloween "recalibration" (new word for remake so they don't anger fans) coming out. I loved Rob Zombie's films but I never wanted a Halloween 3. I sure as hell don't want another remake either. Just give us the new Friday The 13th they've been pushing back.
I went to the movies this weekend and they showed a trailer for a movie called Un-friended has anyone seen/heard about it lol idk why but I'm interested on it.
