I have to say that I am SO happy this album isn't as depressing/somber as Funhouse. Don't get me wrong, I love that side of P!nk, but I absolutely LOVE fun P!nk.
Dan Wilson (Adele, Missy Higgins) co-wrote the album's glorious finale, ballad The Great Escape, a song about suicide and anti-depressants.
"It's about how we're all so numbed," Pink says. "It's very personal for me. We're all trying a way not to feel anything."
It sits with ballads such as Glitter In the Air. Indeed, Pink says she was planning a whole album in that vein.
"If Willow hadn't have happened there'd be something like that, an acoustic record. It'll happen later. It'll put some people to sleep, but that's the plan. I need that. I need those songs. Those songs are my heart and soul. Those songs are what get me through the U + UR Hands."
I personally love it! If the deluxe tracks are fantastic then I feel like the extra couple of pounds I spent wasn't wasted.

It's not as good as IMD but I think depending on your taste it's better than her others

I haven't had a very good day so I needed something to cheer me up.
There's no way I could compare it to her other albums yet! Need more time (and the deluxe tracks).
