I guess you haven't heard about the premiere of the music video for The Edge Of Glory. That should put to bed any chance that Party Rock Anthem had of reaching #1. Keep in mind, TEOG is relatively much newer than PRA, and the music video for PRA has already been out for a while.
The reality is that TEOG has a much higher ceiling than PRA. Not only that, PRA is going to peak a lot sooner than TEOG. It is going to be a very long while before TEOG reaches its peak.
Also, I do not get all this talk about "if a song is going to stop LFN from reaching #1..." It is like people want to ignore that TEOG has a 40+ million AI advantage over LFN/TGIF. This is not going to change any time soon, and it is not like LFN/TGIF was outselling TEOG anyway.
Keep in mind, this is all happening while the music video for TEOG hasn't even been premiered yet. So, what makes everyone think that LFN/TGIF is going to all of a sudden outsell TEOG by over 40k, once the music video for TEOG comes out? If anything, we should be discussing what song will stop TEOG from reaching #1.
I still think tgif will reign supreme...she also has the fact that she has had her past 4 songs rape on radio and itunes charts going for her...and u'd best believe w/ that label of hers she will be doing promo...I think gaga will be having a harder time even with the 40 mil plug in AI
Then, how come I cannot find LFN in the Top 5 of the Digital Songs chart, in any of the past 3 weeks? You know, TEOG has been in the Top 5 of the Digital Songs chart the last 3 weeks (4-4-5), selling 164k, 166k, and 154k in those weeks.
If LFN was really selling almost double TEOG, it would have sold around 300k, and been #1 on the Digital Songs chart for the past 3 weeks. I'm pretty sure that is not the case.

I can understand if this was Jive or RCA but gurl I will not have this shade towards the almighty Capitol. Half of the gurls would KILL to have the epic promo that Katy has. I will not have anymore of this complaining Sammi.

Has Capitol ever let us down? You know they want that 5 #1's just as bad as we do. They have something up their sleeves, I'm sure. That, and I think Katy will probs end up outselling Adele this week thanks to how much LFN has compressed everyone else's sales

Zero chance? I beg to differ. She's not new to selling 300K a week. And she probably will next week. She needs to put Adele down to like 65% on iTunes. Hard to do, but she's already well underway...
