I have to disagree. Only because she wrote Ours before she ever stopped dating Taylor Lautner. I'm sure there's a chance that they weren't "official" and all but she wrote a song like Ours and played it for John before her and Lautner ever broke up.

Haha yeah, that's it. I wasn't sure if everyone knew what I was talking about.

But I don't think it's THAT wrong to talk about it, especially when we all stan for an artist who's entire career is talking about her personal life through song.

Look I don't know if she's cheated or not and it shouldn't really matter to anybody but her. However, I'm still observant enough to notice that period of time between the end of TL relationship and the start of the JM one was remarkably and "eye-catchingly" short...which made me wonder too. Anyway, she's never hinted about cheating on either of them and I think by the time she released Red, both relationships had become too old to still write about. I mean they're so SN era that even if any lyric on Red might hint at cheating, it wouldn't concern those two persons. Those were my 2 cents on the subject

imo the fact that she moved so quickly from taylor to john is due to the fact that she'd probably had a crush on john for a while so when the opportunity presented itself... she went for it.

she rather date john over lautner & that's why she broke up with lautner cause she's not really 100% invested in that relationship & that's why she apologized to lautner.

tbh i think she dated lautner but they're not "officially" dating cause if they're just "dating" technically she can still see other people then came john who she has a crush on for a really long time starting to pursue her... she ended things with lautner then she started dating john for real.

possibly emotional cheating but we don't know the whole real story tbh at least she ended things with lautner first & explained herself why it's not working out before she dated someone else

again my opinion only it's not facts or anything confirmed

I think Taylor L was completely for publicity. He maybe grew feelings for her which would explain why she'd feel bad when she wanted to start "real" relationship with John Mayer.
