Well he wasn't comparing it to the entire music industry of Korea, just K-Pop - big difference.
Personally I thought the video as a whole was stupid but his comment was quite interesting imo. In fact I think it would be fascinating if someone did some research and wrote an article on the similarities and differences between Motown and K-Pop, and how they might relate to each other.
I didn't take anything you said personally so don't worry
And there's definitely parallels that could be drawn between the two.
