The "I hate America" issue was such a pedantic and knee-jerk reaction from the media, it was obvious what she meant and people just wanted to be like "aha caught you red-handed!" It made me sad that she had to apologize.

Exactly. And it really bothered me that people made it out like she said she licked the donut because of the poor quality of the food industry / obesity when those comments were referring to her facetious "I hate America" comment. The media and the GP did the absolute most.

They could not wait to catch Mama slipping. It was never that serious and people are so stupid if they can't tell that she wasn't really hating on America But Trump's win kinda just proved that America is unintelligent anyway, so Ari won in the end.
