Hopefully because of her mentorship American Idol gives a intro/shoutout to Gaga saying to buy Judas. I think that would be enough to put it in the top 5.

It needs to be the soundtrack to her intro and they need to show a clip of the video at the end of her package.

Lady Gaga is to release a new track, The Edge of Glory, on iTunes tonight (9 May), although her representatives deny it's an official single.

On Sunday night (8 May), the singer tweeted: "My song THE EDGE OF GLORY will be released on iTunes tomorrow to begin the countdown to album release!" Another tweet read: "Out tomorrow 1pm PDT. Another shot before we kiss the other side. I'm on the edge of something final we call life."

The song will be available from 9pm GMT tonight. It arrives weeks after the release of Judas, the second single from Born This Way, and just days after the debut of its video. Under current rules, tracks immediately become chart eligible when issued on to iTunes. But Gaga's UK spokesperson said: "To clarify: The Edge of Glory is the first track of an iTunes Countdown promotion running in the lead-up to the release of the album Born This Way on 23 May. iTunes will make an official announcement today."

Meanwhile, more tracks from the hugely anticipated Born This Way are emerging. Last week, Gaga debuted another new song, Americano, in Mexico.

dere has to be a reason why she has been referring to pacific time. i have a feeling California's kiss fm (second biggest station in the country after z100) will play it. it looks like 96.1 kiss (in Pennsylvania) will debut it first though, they were the first ones to announce they had it in the first place. there are claiming to play it at 3pm EST (8pm GMT). It looks like its gonna debut on radio at 3pm EST and go live on iTunes @ 4pm. when gaga referred to 1pm PST i believe she meant iTunes. Here is the link to stream it
