That's not what I was trying to say at all. I just think we in K-Pop get so used to over the top concepts that we almost expect the genre to top itself all the time, when that's not possible or even realistic. Crayon Pop is peeling the onion back a few layers and just giving us something simple, which might not be something everyone appreciates (which is fine)
