They can have some help with backup singers at times (I think that's how they are called).

Like I said, in my opinion, I find her to be an average, bordering on below-average singer , and I feel like if the song was sung by someone capable of hitting those notes without going pitchy, I'd enjoy it more.
The song itself and production of the stage still deserves top 10 though.
One day you'll realize what you are missing!
But I think I understand what you don't like: her tone of voice/the way she sings.
Douwe is supporting Belgium. He says that the plagiarism claims are just stupid cause in pop music EVERYTHING has been done before, it's all done before you so people should just stop being obnoxious.

Yes the backing vocals are allowed, which is blatantly OBVIOUS in France's case.
He has his backing vocals doing the high part for him.
Start at 2:05 to 2:10 and see that the backing vocal is doing his climax. The high note there is someone behind the screen, not visible for us as the mic is not even anywhere close to his mouth when the climax is being sung.
Mans had also people behind the screen backing him up last year.
I'm not convinced. Some of the vocals sound exactly like the audio-track.
Listen, they have 2 months to prepare one 3-minute song to perfection. They obviously make sure that the studio version is not too edited so that it'll sound very similar live.
Can they use auto-tuned mics or mic effects? That would make sense. I say that because if I watch previous performances of these singers, they're not as good as their Eurovision performances suggest.

It does not change the fact that they are on the other side of the world and have no place in Eurovision EBU could have started an Asiavision where Australia can participate and win countless times and get money from other Asian countries too.
Eurovision is not and should not become the Olympics of music.
You're right, it doesn't have a place in Eurovision. There's more talent in an episode of The Voice Australia than this entire competition The fact some X Factor winner got y'all shook
