You can't possibly believe that, can you? If Britney doesn't even bother to mention she has a new single out and her team don't bother to book her promotional slots and get her banners etc, why should the Army bust their ass off promoting her stuff? They are the ones giving her money, not the other way around. Britney should feel blessed she still has THOUSANDS of fans supporting her after the FF era.

I'm just disconnected from the complaints. Like, why am I gonna be mad because she didn't promote her own single? I don't benefit from her success. I don't get a check if/when she goes to #1. Like I got new music, I bought her single. I'm good. That's all that matters to me.
I guess for some, it's more important that she do well to produce receipts so they can argue with other stanbases over accolades that they themselves will never financially benefit from.

I've already addressed that a few posts ago, there was more HYPE and DEMAND after her comeback era. Isn't it that obvious? After HIAM's first week everything went downhill, until TTWE barely saved the era. But that was basically it. I know that, and Britney loves making music, that's probably why she still does. But what's the point in releasing anything if she's not gonna make any effort to get her music out there?

That's too subjective to base arguments on. I personally love it and it's a definite stand-out on her catalog. And it's not flopping lol.

How dare you suggest such a thing! lol, jk. It's absolutely not as good as her previous songs. Britney is known for melodies. This has no melody, so the GP is not here for it, and neither am I.
I actually don't mind if this flops. It's Britney Spears, she has nothing to prove. The song is nice but it is definitely not what I wanted from Britney or what I want the album to sound like. She would be better to go down the "Circus" route and release an album with both urban and pop songs because I would be here for Danja but also some Max Martin or Luke tracks would be nice.

Do you really think that when Britney was going through all that and was an embarrassment to stan for (according to the GP) and everyone was thrashing her, the Army bough 3M copies of Blackout? It was all on the Army and no one else? I agree that we (or they) played a big part of making her successful during that era, but I don't think you should credit all of that to the fans. Or else 3M people would have bough FF as well.
