Like, it had some good scare scenes and all, but it just didn't make sense. Could someone explain the story and the concept to me? 'Cause we didn't get it at all.

What didn't you quite get?
A couple is at home when they are attacked my psychopath killers, who torture and then kill them. The reason? No ****ing reason. Just because they were home. You know these kind of people do actually exist. Psycho killers. How many reports of murderers do we get daily? These killers were actually realistic. Not superhuman, flesh eating, monster type of killers. Like, actual psychopaths.
This movie is as realistic and raw as it gets with horror. It makes you think what if that was you? There are so many things happening around us that we don't see. When im staring in the front, i have no idea what's behind me. Imagine how scary this is. Not knowing what's behind you. I'm not saying there's a killer or a monster behind you, but it IS a possibility since you can't see. And that scene with Liv and the Doll Face killer appearing like that from behind and just watching her was so effortlessly effective, as it showcased what i have stated above.
Also, the characters that were being attacked weren't a couple of super heroes who magically turn into killing machines when something bad is happening, like most horror films. They were regular, normal people. Like you, like me.
Sorry for my long ass, deep analysis. I'm high and i'm going through an overload of thoughts right now.
