No. The full effect of Xfactor is Sunday Night and Today really. Obviously it makes it sell stronger throughout the week. But I have a feeling that Rihanna's Only Girl is coming now for the itunes number 1 (as the hype of xfactor has died down abit [that was why cheryl had such a big lead last night and this morning] ). I cant wait till tomorrow morning when i have a look at the pop bars and see that rihanan is just about to take it from cheryl. (BTW i actually Love Promise This, but yeh Rihanna's Rihanna and only girl is amazing.) So yeh, rihanna will probably take it from cheryl in like a day or 2 but cheryl will still get that number 1 on the singles chart as the sales from yesterday and today are alot (benefits from da X Factor)
