Lol they've gotten her great promo spots we could only wished for on previous eras that's for sure. It just doesn't make sense to book all these promo and send it until April more than a month after promo kicked in. The era had way more potential tho but I can't complain about promo they've done great and her name is more known than ever(at least in the us).

And this kinda songs won't do anything without radio play they shoot up after promo like it has before but with no radio promo that'll last a couple of days. And this is her first single that's not tailor made for radio so it does need an adds date in order to get some attention from radio listeners/djs.

Every performance is a good thing and it does not seem like they will be releasing any more singles so why not take advantage of the fact that the song shows off her talent.

It's wasted money and wasted promo spots, though. A powerful ballad like Stone Cold would've taken off by now. She's performed it in so many places. If Piece by Piece, a song that was out for forever, took off after an Idol performance, why didn't Stone Cold? I know there are many factors, but still. It's time to let it go.

She should be doing Kingdom Come or Old Ways instead. At least give another song a chance to take off.

Because the Piece by Piece performance was much more powerful than Stone Cold, it made everyone cry and the performance went viral.

I start to feel like that she wanted this era to be some kind of transitional era, to show people how sexy and confident she is now. Have a few quick hits. And then move on to the real stuff (or maybe I'm just naive). Also, I think this single release is so messy because the label did not want to release it and Demi had to fight for it, prove that it has potential or something.

After two singles with horrible call outs, they are probably trying to get the public on board prior to sending it to radio, hoping to increase its popularity. Its not working because the song sucks.

Whoever said "145" was good because it didn't have any airplay is foolish: it had plenty of promo that many would consider better than radio and she's bombing.

And again, I add, no one sane would ever release a sad ballad, called "Stone cold", with a video filled with snow imaginary in APRIL LOL. Wich is like a month before summer hits like California Gurls usually get send to radio.

The public has responded to stone cold well after every performance but you can't expect it to sustain itself on iTunes with no radio support .

Girl, what the good sis is trying to say is that both CFTS and Confident got bad callout scores during their chart runs. Yes Confident is top 10 NOW, but what good is a good callout score now that radio is dropping the song?

Edit: radio adds arent even that important for a third single anyway since the album is already out. If radio wanted to play the song, they would. Hands To Myself and Style were added to most of the pop panel before their add dates. She should've released Wildfire to be honest, it's one of Confident's best. Stone Cold is too but it's not single material, especially around summertime.
