***Flawless (Remix) [feat. Nicki Minaj] - Beyoncé
The title of the record speaks for itself. Fearless and brazen Beyoncé explodes on the appropriately titled record (along with megastar Hip Hop Diva Nicki Minaj for the ride) with the aggressiveness and confidence they're both known so well for. When this collaboration was first announced I was slightly skeptical because if you've heard one girl power collabo you've heard them all right? Wrong! Beyoncé and Nicki effortlessly ride the Hit-Boy laced production & fill the record with jaw dropping rhymes and clever wordplay. From autotune to addressing scandals, things you wouldn't normally hear on a Yoncé record are hurled towards you. Ms. Minaj also puts her best foot forward. She's explicit, she's wacky, she's dirty. Hell, she's everything. Nicki doesn't hold back, but at this point would we want her too? This tune is sure to heat up the clubs and get people moving.

Beyonce ft. Nicki Minaj - Flawless (Remix)
I thought this was a song about feminism? Well let's just say Beyonce totally contradicted herself with this remix. The original song didn't need a remix at all. The worst line in the whole song is a "a billion dollars in an elevator"- It sounds tacky, doesn't even rhyme and is very try-hard. Nicki Minaj fails to delivers her rap verse and the best part of the song is first 10 seconds. In conclusion, the remix is pretty pointless and very mediocre.

Beyoncé - ***Flawless (feat. Nicki Minaj) [Remix]
Beyoncé and Nicki surprised everyone (in atrl) with their soundcloud exclusive track, ''***Flawless Remix''. I was slayed for a couple of minutes, all just for the hype (I like Bey) but when i started listening to it closely, i realized how bad it is compared to the original version. Beyoncé's screams are totally disgusting, even though some verses are good (1 billion on the elevator), the rest are just a crime against humanity. Nicki's part was completely amazing tho. She totally killed the song.
The whole thing is just bad & forgettable.
Unnecessary as hell.

Beyoncé - '***Flawless f/ Nicki Minaj'
I didn't believe it at first and I only did when I saw the streaming available to hear the song. Nonetheless, I'd rather if this hadn't happened at all. It's like they went back in time, when J.Lo used to make out of remixes, completely new songs. They took out the powerful instrumental and 'Bow down bitches', at least they didn't take off the 'I woke up like this' part. That would've been criminal. The song went down in quality and surely will follow the flop list Beyoncé has been delivering with the new album.
5.5/10
Nicki Minaj - 'Anaconda'
While Nicki did a poor job with Beyoncé, the same doesn't apply to 'Anaconda'. It's fresh, unique and catchy. I wouldn't be shocked if in some years, some of the lyrics are some of the most known from her career. The song is so cool but I bet J.Lo doesn't find this very cool since she was about to release 'Booty'... Two butt songs in just one summer... Who would've thought? 'Anaconda' slayed!

Beyonce/Nicki flawless remix
Now, I've been quite vocal about my stanship expiring for Ms. Beyonce after Single Ladies.
As a stan for Nicki, I choose to support her material regardless as to whether I love the song. That said, i heard the rumors. Unphased and unbothered is what I remained. I saw the threads...meh, could take it or leave it.
Then I objectively listened to the track.
Beyonce had me a former stan circa (1997-2008) ready to purchase the BEYONCE experience.
Why Beyonce got me ready to add her to my great 8 based on the elevator line alone?
Bish what? Stunt on dem lessers. Let dem heaux know your resume and your credentials. Billion dollars gon' cause a ruckus.
Now, I must say that i like Beyonce's first part more than her 2nd part. As i measure this against their unofficial sweet dream remix I can't say this song is better but I can say this is the best collaboration of the year if I count Dark Horse for 2013.
Nicki's been serving me Lookin azz nucca and chi raq but then with the silliness that is Anaconda, the add water and voila basic middle school girl got ha heart broken for the first time and decide to recite ha diary entries as poetry that was Pills n potions I couldn't be certain that I would automatically live for the verse.
I listen and she went in. Propofol...I know they hope I fall. Gurl, the crown is heavy and dem ankle biters stay nibbling at your heels like them fish eating dead skin. She laughed at hopefuls in Roman reloaded. She called dem lessers out for having no navigation and it was off with their heads decapitation. So, I was elated to find Nicki not only delivered but served what I consider her 2nd best verse of all time...following monster.
I was trying to give them my coins but I'll say this...I have it on my phone and its in my playlist i use going to and from work.
Overall, great production, great lyrics, great chemistry, great message by two great artists.
9.8/10

***Flawless
4/10
I can understand the hype as two of ATRL's favourites ladies finally collaborate, but the remix itself feels pointless. I would've much preferred a brand new track than a strange reinterpretation of the previously standout Flawless. Nicki's verse is average for her I think, she's done much better and a whole lot worse, but Beyoncé's really leaves room for improvement. The lyricism in this remix is disappointing considering the two women involved. While I admire the new production, it doesn't compare at all to the original, and while I don't care about whether or not it upholds the message of the original, I just don't think it's as good.

***Flawless
"Like MJ doctor, they killing me." Nicki Minaj brings the same balls-to-the-wall energy that she once graced Kanye's Monster with. Spitting so ferociously, Nicki adds a certain energy to the song that chimamanda's speech just could not do. And not to mention her declaring herself the "Queen of Hiphop" A title that is rightfully so, and will not be taken soon. And how could we forget about Yonce? With a new verse, she raps about her infamous sister beating up her poor husband, Sean, And in the process spilling the beans on how much money she has in her bank account. In the original, a nice little feminism message was the main attraction, but now Nicki and Bey talk about how ***Flawless they are, and no matter how hard these other bitches try, they will NEVER wake up like thm.

Beyoncé - '***Flawless f/ Nicki Minaj'
So after 5 years of waiting for Beyoncé to acknowledge Nicki's existence, the two collab together on "***Flawless" the already ***Flawless track from the ***Flawless album "Beyoncé". Bey gives NO ****S as soon as her verse starts, FINALLY speaking on the Solange/Jay Z gate she makes it quite clear that we will NEVUH know what went down and all we need to know is that she's a rich bitch. So yea by then I'm slayed but KNOCK KNOCK 2:20 comes and Bey has her foot on my neck by this point when I hear "Onika". I can't even explain how quickly I found a seat at hearing her speak Nicki's government. Nicki SLAYED her verse as usual, giving me that flow I love, giving me the life I needed. All in all I FAGGED out and ain't go to sleep till 5 AM.

***Flawless (Remix)
10/10
What better to describe this remix than simply... flawless. It goes without saying that this song comes at a crucial and interesting time for both Beyoncé & Nicki Minaj and both songstresses clearly brought their A-Game. Beyoncé brings along her rapping persona, Yoncé (AKA "Ms. Third Ward" or "Third Ward Trill") and delivers a sexy sultry rap to start things off. Her lyrics are equally culturally relevant as they are humorous. I enjoy her usage of words like "thots" and "thirsty". A song that can make you laugh (with it and not at it) is always fun, right? Nicki brings her signature rhymes but this time with a more aggressive and murderous undertone matching the overall vibe of the song. The two took what was already a certified anthem of our generation, and kicked it into high gear. I also enjoyed how Beyoncé appeared 3 new times throughout the track. This added to the excitement and element of surprise. It is undeniable that is a REmix and not just some thrown together mess. The song also gets a for it's ENDLESS punchlines, most notably the already-iconic Elevator chant by Beyoncé. What more can I say...I just can't.

Who would have thought that this would ever happen? Beyonce and Nicki Minaj have come together to create the ultimate track together; blending their voices together so well that you'd think they were a duet group. There's no doubt that when you bring together the likes of Nicki Minaj and Beyonce that you will witness greatness. And that is what we've all witnessed this week.
I didn't know what to expect when i first heard the news that Nicki Minaj will be features on a song with Beyonce. Boy was i wrong for ever doubting the likes of Nicki Minaj. This woman set out to make a statement, and that's what she did. Some might even go as far as saying that this was the rapper's best verse on a featured song. I think i agree. Nicki brought her A-game on this track, and there's really nothing we can do about it. Beyonce and Nicki together are an unstoppable force. One that i hope will not stop any time soon.
The Drunk in Love hit maker also made a few statements in some extra verse she added to this track along with the rapper. It's no question that Beyoncé isn't known for giving the media any shred of light on what goes on behind closed doors, but there's only so much one person can take. Oh boy did she sting hard. With out a doubt, the most shocking line of the track comes from Beyoncé, who surprisingly spoke about the not so unknown elevator incident. She so effortless stomps down all the hate with one line; spitting "Of course something sh*t goes down when there's a billion dollars on a elevator".
The If there's one lesson learned from this, it's that when you put The Queen Bey and the Queen of Rap together, you won't be disappointed.

From the captivating intro the orginal had all the way to Nicki's feature, Bey doesn't cease to impress.

Some of Beyonce's best lines of her career are present in this flawless track (no pun intended). Nicki Minaj is the Queen of Rap (sorry Iggs) and slapping her own this female empowerment anthem was one of the best choices made in 2014 as far as music quality goes. It's full of swagger, style, grace. Nicki's verses are the most memorable part of this song though, without it it wouldn't have been nearly as good as it is. I dislike the fact that she used MJ to make a line but she went in on all of the rappers who are using other's names to make a name for themselves. Even Lil Kim HERSELF had to remix this track just to bite back at Nicki, to no avail of course.
If you're looking for the best track of 2014, look no further than the art piece Bey and Nicki made together.

***Flawless (remix)
The collaboration that everyone has been waiting on has finally arrived. Beyonce and Nicki Minaj have taken the internet by storm and dropped a ***Flawless remix. Beyonce manages to serve both vocals and bars as if she's been rapping her whole life, but Minaj definitely held her own against Yonce (Bey's rapping alter ego). The two sound amazing together, and they definitely delivered on one of the most anticipated collaborations ever. From Yonce's elevator line, to Nicki's "Like Mj doctor, they killin me" line they both manage to serve controversy, as well as quality. With ***Flawless production, lyrics, and heavy replay value, I think it's pretty safe to say that Beyonce and Nicki took a nearly perfect song and made it truly ***Flawless.

The second single off of Nicki's much anticipated 3rd album has proved to be her best yet of this era.
Like most people, when the LQ snippet of this leaked I was on the fence about how it would do. A few days later I received the full LQ version of the song, and I realized that Nicki had something on her hands.
After listening to the LQ a few times, I realized that the song was actually a bop.
I love how she sampled Sir Mix A Lot and rebranded such an iconic song and made it her own. The wordplay was catchy and unique. You can definitely tell this is more of the fun side of The Pink Print, due during the last quarter of the year.
The song toped at #1 on the iTunes chart, making this her highest charting single, and the highest charting solo single of ANY rapper. A lot of people only like to recognize Nicki for her pop music, but this song right here shows she's
more than that. Songs like Super Bass and Starships charted high and had great success, but Anaconda
is coming to slither through and really let you know what it's about.
Don't forget to catch the video next week.

Flawless with Nicki Minaj is indeed one thing: Flawless! Queen B and Nicki took on Beyonce's ***Flawless, a fan favorite of her newest album BEYONCE, revamped it, and transformed it from being a song with a rather political message into a manifestation of female empowerment. The track kicks in with an electrifying rap by Yonce, the urban version of Queen B, spilling her tea with iconic lines like "Of course **** go down when its a billion dollars on an elevator" over a Soca-influenced instrumental, leading straight into the middle section of the original track. What follows is the transition into Nickis magnificent and groundbreaking lines, in which she clearly shows her capabilities of being the best female rapper at the moment, by using horns which already capture the inherent triumph of this collaboration and a subtle "Onika" by Yonce herself, summoning the queen of rap. After all, the collaboration between these two turned out to be the most surprising and most astonishing collaboration this year, arguably even one of the most groundbreaking collaborations in the past decade, reintroducing us to the potential power of female rap.

Nicki Minaj- "Anaconda"
Nicki Minaj's new single "Anaconda" is ridiculous... in all the right ways. It is, perhaps, not the euphoria-inducing sing along anthem that "Superb Ass" epitomized, but it's better than just about everything she's put out between then and now. "Anaconda" serves as anthem for the beloved big booty. Nicki tells us all that it's good to have some meat on our bones as she spits, "He can tell I ain't missing no meals." Don't starve yourselves, girls!
Of course, the song's true moment of genius might be the male hook that delivers the track's title—"My anaconda don't want none unless you've got buns, hun." Including the male perspective here tells men that they should prefer shapely girls over twigs. Imagine that!
Look at her butt! ... Don't you know her ass is famous?

Beyoncé- "***Flawless"
One of the worst trends in recent pop history has been the deplorably desperate tactic of releasing half-assed "remixes" with featured artists in order to improve their sales or chart positions. You can't quite make it to #1 on your own? No worries! Phone a friend, or rent a rapper!
But Beyoncé is no ordinary pop tart so, of course, her remixed track just had to be the best collaboration between two female pop superstars since 2009's "Telephone."
Early on in the track, Yoncé addresses her recent family scandal with the line "of course sometimes **** goes down when it's a billion dollars on the elevator," punctuated by a laugh and a cash register noise. Later, the track perfectly builds up to Minaj's entry. You can't help but want to bow down when she raps, "The Queen of Rap, slaying with Queen Bey." Nicki goes all out as she delivers one of her better and more memorable features—as if Beyoncé would accept anything less than the best.
But still, a lot is lost due to the unfortunate exclusion of the excerpt taken from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's speech "We Should All Be Feminists." Beyoncé's utilization of the speech was an act of sheer brilliance, and it was perfectly integrated into the track. It was such an unusual and unexpected move in today's pop landscape that the track became a major talking point upon the album's release. Now, "***Flawless" has once again become a talking point for Beyoncé as people begin to contrast the varying messages of the song's two versions. Of course, both versions are ***Flawless, and it is rather impossible to choose between them... but why choose when you can have both?
10/10
Note: Beyoncé has really milked this track for all it's worth. First the hype surrounding "Bow Down/ I Been On." Then the thousand thought pieces spurned by Chimamanda's appearance on "***Flawless." Now the era-revitalization attempt with the viral remix with Nicki. Damn, Bey.
