Hilary is normal! She's so nice but she's a bitch like anybody else. The thing with Hilary though, if it's only to people who deserve it! With Faye and LIndsay, she was defending herself. not sure what went on with her and Lalaine but let's just assume it was lalaine's fault.

Ohhh good topic! I always "liked" Hilary, but there was a certain point where I just fell in LOVE.
Well I really enjoyed Lizzie Mcguire when it first came out! I made a point to watch it every week, setting my alarm so I'd wake up on time (it came on Saturday mornings here in Canaduh). I really liked it, it was a great show for young girls (I was 10 at the time). If you said "Hilary Duff" to me though I'd be like, "who?". I just liked the show and didn't know much about Hilary herself.
I remember hearing "I cant' wait" and "why not" and liking them. I napstered that **** and listened to it regualrly. Then I remember her Sweet 16 Hawaii Special that was on WB to promote Metamorphosis. I watched it and I was like "Hilary is a pretty cool chick!" and I liked all the songs featured in it. Definitely got me interested in just Hilary. I'll be honest, I didn't buy "Metamorphosis" at first I just downloaded it and burned it to a cd lol. I would listen to it in secret because all my friends were in their like pun rock phase at the time and Hilary was just so uncool to such pun rock badasses like them *eyeroll*.
Anyways I remember being on mtv.com and seeing Hilary's self titled album on the leak and being like "yaaaay cool I like her, let's check it out!". Well basically let's put it this way, I listened to it and was glued to my computer with my headphones plugged in for the entire week it was on "The Leak". I couldn't wait to get home from school and listen. I bought it the day it came out and my Hilary insanity started. I still kept it secret for a while, until I went to my first Hilary concert January 6th 2005. When I got my tickets I just told my friends "I like Hilary Duff and I'm going to her concert and it will be awesome". Sure they side eyed me for a bit then they got over it. My Hilary love has been blatantly in the open ever since
I remember those good old days when MTV was still somewhat music related.
