I think they just had time to mix it properly, don't think it's autotuned. Lame if it is. Usually pre-taped stuff has time to go through proper sound mixing instead of relying on the sound engineer of the show to mix it right live for TV. U2 said something about hating to do live tv performances because they don't trust the random sound engineer to know their sound and mix it right.
