This was a transition time for her, she lost the Hound, she was all fear, she had to reconnect with the only thing that had been kind to her in that moment (you know when she was captive as "Arry" and surrounded by mudd, blood and torture) and this was Jaquen H'ghar. I think with this whole experience in Braavos she became a more determined, stronger focused person to go get what she wants, and I think that's what struck me when she went to grab Needle, there was determination, no hesitancy. She's still very young, figuring herself out, understanding who she is, everyone go through a period in their life where they look for mentors.

The High Sparrow is such a shady kween, he's always ready with some effortless clock. Even Olenna can't beat ha.

I could be wrong though I don't read show spoilers.

It was a cute, kinda filler-ish episode.
Sam and Gilly were given WAY too much time but I somehow didn't hate their scenes this time.
Sam's MOM >>>>>
Highlights of ep are def the Marg/Tommen scene, the cancelled WoA with Queen Marg showing everyone the bad bitch she is and Dany's team building session ft. Drogon
Also LOVED the starting with Mad King's special!!! appearance.
The CGI was quite whack this time @Dany's scene and her speech wasn't as convincing as her previous ones bu I was stll slayed
Benjen coming to rescue was cute, Tyrell's marching to Sept was cute...
Otherwise it was quite....meh. Kept waiting for more

Because of how the climax of the season should be a battle for the North, and a big part of that has to do with how the Freys/Boltons murdered Starks/Tullys to take Riverrun/Winterfell?

Well they showed that person in previously on segment. And they brought up that person during the show but it could just be hopeful wishing on my end since I still don't understand why that character hasn't been included on the show.

I totally felt like Mace in that scene. Am kinda unaware of the complications of this move by Tommen & Margaery. High Sparrow just seems to be lusting for power as much as everyone else under the cloak of religion.

the most spot on thing I've read today + I also think Margery set this whole thing up

It all goes back to the Red Wedding.
Walder Frey, Roose Bolton and Tywin Lannister plotted revenge against the Starks for declaring war against the king, each for their own purpose. Roose would be rewarded with Wardening of the North, Walder would be rewarded with Wardening of the Riverlands and Tywin would squash the northerner rebellion and secure the North and the Riverlands, including House Tully, would be stopped in their tracks and folded back into the Lannister rule.
During the Red Wedding, where Edmure Tully married one of Walder's daughters in order to forgive the Oath Robb broke by marrying Talissa, he was the Warden of the Riverlands and Lord of House Tully now that his father Hoster died, and Catelyn needed Robb to not be seeing as an oathbreaker because he was a King now, and no one would respect him, so Edmure accepted, the Red Wedding happened and Catelyn's uncle, Brynden 'The Blackfish' Tully escaped.
What you have to remember is that Brynden is one of the most accomplished and veteran generals in the seven Kingdoms, he's a legend and the Freys are useless, so he easily managed to retake the seat of House Tully, Riverrun and amasse a force with the houses that were still loyal to the Tullys.
Cersei sends Jaime to the Riverlands to break Brynden's siege and retake Riverrun, squash House Tully for good and help Lord Frey get control back of the Riverlands.

It's all about a pact between the Lannisters and the Freys to share the place but Blackfish escaped the Red Wedding and installed a siege in Riverrun.
Following the Red Wedding, Walder Frey imprisons Edmure Tully and kills Catelyn, but their uncle Brynden "The Blackfish" Tully escapes and heads back to Riverrun. Walder Frey gloats that Tywin Lannister intends to reward him for the betrayal against the Starks by making a Frey the new Lord of Riverrun, but Brynden and the surviving Tully garrison at Riverrun won't let this happen without a fight.
According to the agreement between Tywin Lannister and the Freys, Riverrun is granted to the second son of Lord Frey. The Frey leads troops to take Riverrun, reinforced by Lannister troops. Brynden anticipates a siege. He gathers all the foodstuffs and goods he can within the castle, expels all the unnecessary mouths, and installs a very long siege.
Sansa sends Brienne to ask Blackfish (and the Tully troops) for the future war in the north to take Winterfell. Tommen sends Jaime to lead the Lannister troops and take Riverrun.
Huge mess incoming.

Episodes where multiple of the main 7 characters were missing (aka the 7 main actors HBO submits to the Emmys):
Wolf and the Lion - Jon, Dany; Golden Crown - Jon, Jaime; You Win Or You Die - Tyrion, Arya, Sansa
Night Lands - Sansa, Jaime; Ghost of Harrenhal - Sansa, Jaime; What Is Dead May Never Die - Dany, Jaime; Garden of Bones - Cersei, Jon, Jaime; Blackwater - Jon, Dany, Arya, Jaime
Valar Dohaeris - Arya, Jaime; Rains of Castamere - Tyrion, Cersei, Sansa, Jaime; Second Sons - Jon, Jaime
Lion and the Rose - Jon, Dany, Arya; Laws of Gods and Men - Jon, Arya, Sansa; Watchers on the Wall - Tyrion, Cersei, Dany, Arya, Sansa, Jaime
High Sparrow - Dany, Jaime; Unbowed Unbent Unbroken - Jon, Dany; Kill the Boy - Cersei, Arya, Jaime; Dance of Dragons - Cersei, Sansa
Door - Cersei, Jaime; Blood of My Blood - Tyrion, Jon, Sansa
Episodes with most major absences, and how the remaining mains configured:
Watchers on the Wall 6: Jon
Blackwater 4: Cersei/Sansa/Tyrion
Lion and the Rose 3: Tyrion/Cersei/Sansa/Jaime
Rains of Castamere 4: Arya, Dany, Jon
Laws of Gods and Men 3: Cersei/Tyrion/Jaime, Dany
Garden of Bones 3: Tyrion/Sansa, Dany, Arya
Blood of My Blood 3: Jaime/Cersei, Arya, Dany
You Win or You Die 3: Cersei, Jaime, Dany, Jon
Kill the Boy 3: Sansa, Jon, Tyrion, Dany
Hmm, so when it comes to the mains, after the obvious Watchers on the Wall & Blackwater battle eps, the most focus-y ep is the Purple Wedding.

So was that one scene of Dorne the end of Dorne?
They just murdered Marcella, Their King and his heir and...that's it.

I'm mad confused about Arya's plot. Did she literally just decide to jump ship AFTER ALL THAT? It was such a quick turnaround. Can someone explain why she was supposed to kill that actress?
