Yeah, the only main difference I know of is subtle lyric changes.

I don't think so, the production is no where near as "poppy" or "clubby" and the snippet, lyrics are different or at least in different places and the melody is a tad different is some verses of the demo.

Oh I hear the strings now, is there more reverb on that e-pianoish opening too? Idk I'm not hearing a lot of difference, which makes me think that the demos for Sex, Yeah! and Power & Control are pretty much final, with only "little tweaks" on the album versions.

The instrumental sounds different on the final too, more dancey/clubby and upbeat.

Were Marina's indie fan-base mad she worked with Dr. Luke or something? Pressed indie losers.
The fact is, she's still writing the lyrics to all her own music. That's pretty impressive. Whether she works with Dr Luke or her Argos Keyboard, her work will remain epic, by any standard of judgement.

yes, there's not a lot of difference. i'm kind of happy cus it was perfect in demo version and she only made it better. and yeah, even though i know they're demos, i label them as the final cus sex yeah is essentially the same and p&c just has a slightly different beat and lyrics

I'm craving for the acoustic ep, but i don't have a credit card. If there's someone who uses paypal, i'd send him/her the money for the ep via it, so he/her can buy it for me on marinas site and send me the download link afterwards. It would be so nice if someone could help me with this. if there's anyone who wants to help me, pm me

I remember the indie diamonds being pressed that Marina was getting exposure through Katy's tour. They've been worried about Marina's fame for a while now.

Yes, that fact that she worked with Dr Luke ("producer of ****** American pop"--her words) did make me pressed, not because it could mean more exposure, but because I didn't want the quality of her music to suffer. Luckily it didn't when she worked with Dr Luke. Just Stargate

It didn't with Stargate either, so I'm happy.

I don't think it will leak until sometime after 5:30 UK time because thats when all the workers will finish, so fingers crossed one of them takes an album home with them!!

I want blood, guts, and chocolate cake. I wanna be a living fake. I might need some reality, but I'm busy living in a dream. Prom queen in her tiny dress, leading cheer in her Sunday best. I wish I'd been a teen, I wish I'd been a teen idle. Gunshot cathedral, burning up the bible! Feeling super, super, super, super suicidal! The wasted years, the wasted youth, the pretty lies the ugly truth the day has come where I have died only to find I've come alive.
