So who here is nice enough to gift me the Deluxe edition on Itunes ? I really want it because of the LP. I already pre-ordered my album... but I can't download from Itunes since I don't have a credit card.... We kinda don't use Credit cards here lol. I was able to pre-order on KC's site via some company.

Kelly Clarkson's fifth studio album is based on a simple formula: 1) Put Clarkson in a room with a microphone; 2) Give her a solid pop song to sing; 3) Get the hell out of the way. It's a sound strategy. From the walloping breakup anthem "Mr. Know-It-All" to the closing roof-raiser, "Breaking Your Own Heart," Stronger is as deft as any Clarkson album, with 13 catchy songs that hover between pop rock, R&B and Nashville – all of them showcases for one of music's most remarkable voices. Clarkson remains a slightly wearying one-note artist – she's a wounded lover, bellowing her pain and scorching the earth. But wow – that voice.

Clarkson plays to her strengths on ‘Stronger’

Incurring a case of emotional whiplash is par for the course listening to a Kelly Clarkson album, and it’s usually part of the fun.

It can be incredibly cathartic to listen to the tough and tender Texan throatily luxuriate about kicking a trifling partner to the curb in one breath and unleashing an open-wound wail about romantic desolation and deep psychic scars in the next. She’s got the pipes, passion, and pathos, and we’re happy to go for the roller coaster ride.

On that score, Clarkson’s fifth album, “Stronger,’’ out today, echoes the highs and lows (and occasional bumps) of its predecessors. Her narrators careen between swaggering kiss-offs (“Mr. Know It All’’) and vulnerable confessions (“Breaking Your Own Heart’’) over assorted flavors of contemporary pop production, from crunchy electric guitar rif***e to quivering disco synths. (While Clarkson sings in the first person and co-wrote six of the 13 tracks, we won’t assume that the tunes are all autobiographical, given the list of writers in the credits.) And, as on her past albums, not all the songs on “Stronger’’ are worthy of what Clarkson brings to them vocally.
