For me, I feel like Honeymoon is the middle ground out of the spectrum of things she's done in the past. On one end, she has the really gorgeous and accessible Born to Die, and on the other end, the dark lo-fi sounds of Ultraviolence. Paradise sits somewhere in the middle of those too, so that's probably why many Honeymoon songs sound influenced by that EP.
I lowkey wish she would retire some of these iconic phrases she uses a lot though, like "Queen of the downtown scene" and "drugs and etc. etc." because, even though it delights the fans, I always wonder if other things inspire her music too. But then again, maybe that's all she knows, and she is the best at doing it, and I would rather listen to her sing about these things than one of her clones. K rant over, still love the album
