I'm not saying Anaconda doesn't deserve a spot but you seem to not realize it's only due to it's huge impact, not because it has the best quality & because it's her best single ever.

Super Bass was the most streamed song of 2011 and had every white girl from Taylor Swift to Selena Gomez singing it, and Starships spent 21 weeks in the Top 10. Both of them could be argued had more impact then Anaconda, so where's their nomination?

Anaconda took a 90s song and flipped it to the female perspective, and served classic Nicki craziness. It is her best single, idc.

Starships caused the urban & Hip Hop community to turn against her, dumbed down her artistry
& lyricism for a generic hit & that's why it got 0 noms.

Yes, Anaconda has it's great points but it also has a lot of weak points. So if it wins & there's an uproar, surely it's justified. I can easily see why the Hip Hop community would be pissed if Anaconda wins over other critically acclaimed songs, due to popularity.
