I would like to remind everyone that PRISM has been discounted to $7.99 on iTunes since Thanksgiving. I think that might be a big deal for some since it was when P!nk did it.
Pink's album was legit on sale for half its run, which is fine because I think digital albums should never be more than 7 dollars anyways. Maybe 9-10 for the deluxe.

It's Katy, so of course no one cares.
She got caught lip-syncing and the GP and media still haven't cared.
I didn't know Viva La Vida was about the crusades until today Lyrics aren't something I focus that much on anyway but it's so obvious, roman cavalries, missionaries in foreign fields, Jerusalem bells etc
I wonder how angry Capitol is about Uncle underperforming. You know how micromanaged Katy is, so when something doesn't go according to plan, they must be breaking heels to ensure she still gets those holiday sales in. Good thing they finally gave in to Dark Horse though, SLaty will be fine.

Just the standard version which no one has really used until this week
What do you guys think about the album chart being ranked according to how much $$$ was made like the box office?
It would expose so many of these deals but I think the music industry has never done it that way cause they value more the reach of music rather than the $$$.
It wouldn't work (or be very meaningful) because the movie and music industries have different sales models. Notice that the DVD/Blu-Ray sales charts are ranked by units sold like the music industry.
