imo it's more difficult to get wealthy in ts4 than it was in ts2 and ts3, so you'll be stuck with a cheap house for a while
my family is on the 3rd generation and they don't have more than 1000 simoleons at any given time

i mean, i've expanded their house and bought them stuff, so it's not like they've been stuck at 1000 simoleons through all 3 generations, but they don't make money as fast as i have to spend it (they have 5 kids, that's a lot of beds and toys to buy )
I hope they dont jib out on content this expansion.. if the reviews are good i may consider buying sims4.
Or just wait till they make a starter pack that has the base game + a game pack + a expansion
Like they did with Sims 3 / Late night / High end loft stuff
