Watching the performance, it looks like something was supposed to happen with the cube, maybe her harnessed to it and floating. It would explain the reason for the dancers' break on the runway in the beginning, the reason for part of the cube rising to reveal the other screen/harness behind it, and the choreography.

Obviously, that did not happen, and I think whatever went wrong with it is something they couldn't get right, so she cut it all together. Same thing with whatever her being harnessed at the top of the cube and flying down was.

I saw it in Manchester. I've got to be honest, whilst she slayed and the production was great, it was probably below the Mrs Carter Show to me. I don't know, the venue wasn't a great place for a show and the atmosphere was lacking some sort of buzz and excitement. I dunno, it was just a weird one for me. I think it would have been so much better under a roof and in the dark. The fact it was light for most of it made the atmosphere weird.

The OTR tour editing wasn't bad persay, I just hope the Formation Tour's DVD doesn't do what they did to Partition on OtT where they repeated her making the same movements from like 90 different camera angles like an Asia variety show

How do you know she was supposed to get harnessed?When a small part of the cube rises all i see is a black "Seat" or something like that

OMG this!!!!!! I'll never forgive her for the editing of that Partition performance. It could've been lit, she looked out of this world and the outfit was eye-candy. It's a shame because most of the special was well edited but they really messed that one

Hope they don't do that with the Formation DVD/special. Also, no footage from different shows for the same performance like they did to Drunk In Love It's ok if they want to use footage from various shows, I'm praying for that since she had some amazing hairstyles but don't mess the individual performances.

They had to do that since they only had one take in Paris, she had two shows there but in the first one something went wrong with the stage during Partition and she was just walking around singing the song and couldn't do anything about it.
