"You and I" is the most overproduced song on 'Born This Way'. It was perfect with just a piano, maybe some gentle drums. That wonky-ass sound that reminds me of some carnival ride breaking down is the DEATH of it, just like "Dope" with that droning organ that makes me feel like I'm about to hurl.
Lord.
The highs of 'Born This Way' were great, but the lows were bad and the average are completely forgettable.
Yeezus is epic from a production standpoint but lyrically it falters.
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is lyrically epic.

I think it's kinda like Single Ladies where the video literally made the song a hit. Just proves how good videos is what Gags need to get more than anything. It's been over 3 yrs since a great vid from her
Alejandro deserved a much better video than it got. She had me with the goggles and snow or whatever, but the rest was basically the prequel to what mess was going to come (Btw era hihi).
The worst thing is that Alejandro is her favorite video
