So upcoming major events that could shake things up on iTunes are the Grammys and The Super Bowl. The Super Bowl shouldn't do too much damage to the song since Bruno Mars doesn't have any current single out. What I am worried about are the Grammys. I don't want this song to get lost because of it.

The Super Bowl will also cause random ass songs that are featured in commercials to rise. I hope the good sis Jay Brown waits until February to do legit promo, like MikeFenty said. Shakira will be on the Voice multiple times a week and they'll have less competition

agreed, unless they're able to snag a last minute Grammys performance. i no, it's naive hope but i can still hope.

i just worry about waiting too long to release the video if the song isnt supported by radio.

i wish the voice started later.. its not practical to wait until she's on TV (end of february i think) to debut the video.

I know it's only the 3rd-going-on-4th day but some promo spots announcements would be nice.

option #3 like ive said before would be as good of a promo as the world cup

i think it's unlikely we'll get a three part BTS video, we'll be lucky to get one

also i dont know how i feel about the video teaser. it either hypes people up too much and then they feel dissapointed with the whole video, or they dont like the teaser and are no longer interested in the whole video.

Lyric video + some interviews need to happen. And not just radio interviews

I thought only american artists could perform there.

Her era would have to be massive to headline but the better strategy is that if Riri's R8 smashes she's gonna be the headliner and of course she will invite Shakira to perform.
