Previously on Survivor: ATRL Edition... the 18 remaining castaways returned to their tribe camps to begin yet another round of survival. Round 5 had the contestants sending in their best song about relationships that have their issues, but triumph in the end. Cupid left the competition shortly after the round was posted leaving Uthando with only 4 members remaining. Only one tribe was headed to Tribal Council after Cupid's departure. Meanwhile, the castaways had a mini task that would come into play later on. In the end, Tribe Uthando came out on top for the first time ever while Tribe Jikelele followed behind avoiding Tribal Council. Meanwhile, Tribe Abantu fell to third ending their reign. At the Abantu Tribal Council, dimitrius (who was the weakest member score wise) sacrificed himself leaving the island in 17th place. However, the night was not yet over as the 16 castaways were called to a meeting to announce a Semi Merge into 2 newly formed tribes of Abantu & Jikelele while we bid farewell to Uthando. What will happen this round on Survivor: ATRL Edition?
Welcome to Round 6 of Survivor: ATRL Edition (Season 3)! Let's get started...
The theme for Round 6 is...
Cockiness (Love It): Reloaded
This round we are focusing on cocky and conceited traits that are often shown in music.
This round was actually done on All Stars hence the "reloaded" part of the theme. The reason I'm repeating a round is not because I'm out of ideas. This round, we will be having a public vote on your entries with past Survivor: ATRL Edition alumni. Most of them have either have seen or played this round so they can be trusted to have good judgement when voting. Also, I needed a round that's easy to grasp onto which this one is. If you've seen Choose an Album, Then a Song, it's just like that where they'll save the ones that excel and off those who flop or just stand weaker next to the rest. The judges will be rating as usual so don't worry about being eliminated solely based off a public vote. The vote will be factored in though. I will not reveal who exactly has been asked to vote until I post the entries because I don't want you guys running to people asking them to save you. They will be notified to inform me if any of you do do that, and the consequence will be disqualification. So don't even try it.
Now for the round... all you guys will PM me a song that defines cockiness. Cockiness is feeling and in your head knowing that you're superior to everyone else. No one else stands above you. It's being arrogant or conceited. Make sure when choosing your entry that you don't simply choose a confident song. Confidence is being self-assured but it doesn't mean you think you're best. I want cocky songs. Not confident songs. There's a fine line between the two terms. Make sure to pick the right side of it. You have to do a little bit more than just send me the song this time. Pick a stanza (only one) from the song's lyrics that you feel defines the theme and send that to me along with the song. It's the same thing i do every round for the examples.
Secondly, when choosing your entry, it's probably best to choose a song that isn't known by a total of 12 human beings. We're having a public vote so choosing a song that's not known at all probably isn't a good idea. I'm not saying to go the generic route, but definitely don't go indie.
Finally, since we have done this round before, there is a list of songs you cannot send in. This includes some songs that were used in the "Better Than Her" round because some of those songs were indeed very cocky. Please go over the list before you send your entry.

The first example for this round is "Diva by Beyonce off her studio album I Am... Sasha Fierce. In the song, Beyonce reminds us all why she's the #1 Diva.

Omg! What kind of comeback? thank you judges for giving me all 10's. I can't believe it. I would like to thank the old uthando tribe for never giving up on me. I'd like to thank my mom for believing in me, and always telling me to believe in myself. I'd like to also thank God for making all my dreams come true. the judges you're awesome.
