You can always fight xenophobia and racism without resorting to propaganda and demagogy.

Thoughts of Imre Kertész , who won the Nobel Prize for his work Fatelessness in 2002.
Quote:
HUNGARY’S NOBEL PRIZE-WINNING WRITER IMRE KERTÉSZ ON EUROPE’S “SUICIDAL LIBERALISM” (2014)
2015-09-07 | immigrationimre kertész
“Europe is beginning to recognise where she has been taken to by her liberal immigration policy. All of a sudden, they have realised that the breed of animal named multicultural society doesn’t exist”, Nobel Prize-winning Hungarian writer Imre Kertész warned in a piece published in Hungarian in 2014.
Speaking to the daily newspaper Magyar Idők, the writer’s wife explained that the piece, much cited in recent days, was written between 2002 and 2009 but matches the present situation and is a sort of prophecy which seems to be fulfulling itself. “The text is neither hateful nor exclusionary but merely a sad ascertainment of a situation seen this way by Imre Kertész, the 86-year-old’s wife told the paper.
I should say something or other about politics, but it really would be an unnecessary and boring waste of time to do so. I should recall how the Muslims are flooding Europe to later conquer, or, in other terms, destroy it; about how Europe manages all this, on suicidal liberalism and brainless democracy; democracy and suffrage for chimpanzees.
This is always what it concludes to: the civilisation arrives at an overbred condition in which it is not only unable but also unwilling to protect itself; when, seemingly mindlessly, it worships its own enemies. What is more, all this cannot be said in public. Why not? The question would not cause me worry, had I not, in the meanwhile, become a ‘public figure’.
I am beginning to understand the compulsion feeding the general great lie; it is simply impossible to challenge the compulsion for the politician because it causes him to loose his popularity and for the same reason for the writer; lies and total self-surrender are good manners. (…)
I have cancelled writing my article to Neue Zürcher despite being eager to tell my opinion on the changes we face. A murderous world is on our doorsteps, racism, nationalism; Europe is beggining to realise where it has been taken by its liberal immigration policy. All of a sudden, they have realised that the breed of animal named multicultural society doesn’t exist. An interesting, paradoxical dead-end: while the European Union is being enlargened, certain member states are contracting. The laws expected go against the Union’s constitution, but who would deny their fundamental significance? The problem is that there is no differentiation made: there would be separate laws for the free citizen and others applying to Muslims. However, this would amount to discrimination. On the other hand, it is impossible to contemplate that, let us say, France should become a Muslim country within two or three generations. Politicians ascending from the depths of anger stirred up by the general fear and hysteria rather try to turn the situation to serve their own power than to consider genuine solutions. To put it another way: the possibility for new dictatorships, bringing peril first and foremost to their own people on the pretext of an emergency situation. has opened up.”

We already have muslim schoolgirls running away to be jihadi brides. The EU knows Europe is going to be infiltrated with ISIS sleeper cells. 20000 refugees, a large majority is economic turkish migrants who have destroyed their documents are coming into the country, it's risky enough. Thank god for drones.

you honestly believe the bull**** you just wrote out? like its registering in your brain as correct?
youre the one who doesnt understand the reality of the situation, how many muslim girls are running away to be jihadi brides? youre taking media sensationalism as fact. also this majority of turkish economic migrants mess, turkey is in the EU so they would be able to come over anyway as part of freedom of movement?
and the drone comment is just disgusting. these people have fled through the sahara desert and spent days/weeks on a boat or on foot fleeing ISIS themselves. theyre victims of ISIS, how can you label them as their attackers? this unfounded hatred and refusal to help those in need is disgusting.

How can you discredit what he wrote in this manner yet you don't even know which country is an EU member. Turkey certainly is NOT.

It's a sign that the world will come to an end soon.
I can't see any possible solution to this problem.

Idk about the world ending but definitely an end to the Europe we know. These things happen all the time, the coming and passing of nations and empires is usually unperceived, but the internet might have changed things, so we'll see.

Well yeah, this is mostly the fault of the US and now they're not even doing anything to help.

You guys are underestimating Germany s intelligence. There is a reason there hasn't been terrorists attacks there and the criminality there is quite low. Believe me they do have things under control.
France on the other hand

sis, how things could be under control, when no one is checking those immigrants? Those people need to be helped and I'm not surprised they want to get the best, but this can't look like uncontrolled stampede to Berlin, worsen after Angela's "Komm zu Mutti". Current situation will create more problems than it'll solve.

Recently, when the Swedish Democrats (the far-right) launched the project for a gay parade in the Muslim populated areas of Sweden, the Swedish left spoke up against it because they considered it racist.
Now, obviously the Swedish Democrats are kind of assholes and such a parade was definitely provocative, but shouldn't gay parades and gays in general be allowed to go wherever they want in their country (provided that they respect the law), even conservative or far-right gays ?
