Congratulations on your recent Hall of Fame achievement!
I am honor to have this title; I just wish it has come sooner.
How did you discover atrl and what is the meaning of your username?
I don't think this is the reason for new users, but back in 2006, TRL, which stands for "Total Request Live," was one of my most favorite MTV shows ever. Being addicted to the show, I signed up and came online to check music news and the daily countdown from the show if I missed any episode. My username is basically my name, followed by my favorite numbers.
Who are your favorite music artists?
People would know my music taste immediately if they check out my weekly SIM 25 often. It's a wide range of music, from Pop, Country, Electro Dance to Rock, Ballad, Hip-hop. As most of you know too, my favorite artists are Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Usher, and recently Taylor Swift.
What was your thought when you found out you made the GTV Hall of Fame?
I worked hard for this title, and I expected so to climb up the chart about 1-2 spots per update. But I didn't put too much hope in being top 3 or this Hall of Fame, so it was a proud achievement overall.
How do feel about being No. 2 on Members Charts and No. 1 on Power Charts?
As I said, it's an achievement that you should be proud of. It boosts up your confidence, I made sure that most of the answers I sent in are from the right music videos. Often I was not surprised by my score or results. Though I don't like holding the top of the charts for too long, other ones on the edge of the top need a break from competing for the top too.
How often do you watch music videos?
I'm old. I've watched MTV since the 90s, and I used to love watching music videos on TV back then. Since around mid 2000s, it became a host place for TV shows 24/7, I gradually reduce my time watching MVs on TV to YouTube. After 2010, I even spent less time because I only watched them during their premiere, and if not interested, never even bothered watching it again.
The game appears to restart anew, who do you predict will be as the new top players?
I see these as the regular posters. I guess CrazyCat, Kavish, and MusicLover. They have still participated before and after the break. It's great that you update the new chart rules, with brand new updates, and players so that the old ones don't feel lost or removed from the competition.
What are some memorable videos or moments you had in this game?
There were at least two special rounds that we had to send in our own video captions for others to guess. I was excited for those rounds. Of course I like rounds that provide hints, giving us much less time to do research. I hate it when I have to watch the music videos of the genres that I dislike.
What's your strategy to find the answers?
First, I try to relate them to my memory and refer to my iTunes and other music libraries to see if they could have such music videos. Second, if there are years provided, I look up music charts from UK, US, Australia. And lastly, I would look up on YouTube and other sites.
Why are you leaving the game?
Not only because I lost connection with this game since the host took a long break but also I am actually losing interest with ATRL, which happens with most users. I'm one of the rare ATRL veterans around here that still sticks here for almost 7-8 years long, I think it is time for a permanent leave. Even some strong competitors like ImARudeBoy & Mr.Link have leaved the game before me. Nevertheless, it was a great memory to reminisce back to this forum in the future.
I am very sad to hear that. I wish you could continue, but it seems like you have made up your mind.
Most players leaved the game. Do you think the competition has died?
Well no, it's just time for a new chapter, a new era, and new characters of the new competition. The old ones won't be replaced, but there's still competition as long as you can keep it going let us know if you would take a break temporarily. Just like the people in the music industry, they need to change for a new market, they cannot stick with the same way or else they lose the business.
What advice would you give to future players?
Make sure to confirm your answers are correct before submitting them. Keep up with the game and pay attention to what the host does in this thread. You should succeed to be in the Hall of Fame one day.

It has been one of the forums that I checked often for music news and members' music tastes since then. I was active in 2006-2007, then inactive, and became active again since late 2009 until now.
As everyone knows, my username is just basically my name following by my favorite numbers, which was rearranged from 2011 to 1120, since I didn't want people to think that I'm a member of the year 2011 or it's my favorite year.
Why are you leaving the game?
Not only because I lost connection with this game since the host made a random long-ass break (the last post before the break was on JAN 8th, and the comeback post was on APR 24th, almost 5 months long) too similarly to his other previous games that I was also a part of, but also I'm actually losing interest with ATRL in general. This happens to most users though. I'm one of the rare ATRL veterans around here that still sticks here for almost 7-8 years long, it's time for a permanent leave. I believe you can hand count the number of 7-year old veterans in this Games section, even some strong competitors/veterans like ImARudeBoy & Mr.Link have left before me. But I do think most of you will eventually leave this forum in 2-3 years from now! most of my loyal fans have left before me, and that's why Im losing my popularity around here to Adr or newcomers!

Don't worry, I have to finish my last edition & the final overall edition of the ABC artists' game before I go
I estimate everything should be done by the end of this summer  and I might be able to finish up to June edition of SIM 25 Top songs too!
