Did y'all hear that Kurt Coleman has landed his own reality show?
Once my bestfriend knows about this she will be locked away in her room watching it on end
Me and my old-bestfriend back at end of 2012 discovered him before he was too famous, and I remember dragging his ass about something on there and my friend backing me up, and him swiftly clocking me

I tweeted MTV Australia like 6 months ago telling them about his Facebook and that he needed his own reality show. Hopefully I had something to do with this

It was so windy today
And cold. You'd swear we've relocated to the Antarctic
'God it's like spot the Aussie, Asians everywhere, you'd swear we've moved to China' said out loud in the food court surrounded by Asians
The older generation has absolutely no tack or filter, they just blurt out whatever.

Yes to both of these! I feel yours and Save My Life's pain. My family aren't trash, but I can't say their views are as advanced as mine Overweight people at the shops and my mom starts cracking jokes. Asians in the city and my younger sister (she's pure bogan) starts crapping on about a lack of "Australians" like she's one of the old bitties. I keep bringing up the fact that we aren't aboriginals nor supermodels - yet hypocrisy is something they're yet to grasp. They really don't know much about the world outside of our little suburban life
+ Slay at Kurt getting his own show. Despite how ridiculous he can be, I actually do admire him for being so confident in himself when so many try to belittle him. Truly an Aussie Icon
I love him so much. My friends and I always quote him and impersonate him. The fact that grew up in Queensland, so he has a really conservative, thick, Australian accent, combined with the fact that he's so, sooo gay gives him the funniest voice ever. Like you can't tell if he's a really gay guy trying to sound heaps 'strowyan, or if he's a heaps 'strowyan/bogan guy trying to sound really camp and gay.
His show is going to be so good. People on his facebook are always trying to convince him to go on Big Brother.

YASS our struggle is real. I can't wait until the older generation are extinct and us youngsters will rise to the top creating a perfect society
I got sick half way watching that video of the 'bogan hunters'.
Like, why would you be proud being a complete utter embarrassment to society with an IQ that wouldn't exceed 50?
"yeh m8 got mi sunnies nd my thongs on yeah m8 stubby in one hand fk these boat people right off ay m8 not aussie like me ai m8 oh ur not wearing what im wearing u must be gay m8 fking centrelink didnt pay me m8" - Typical Australian.

I've got the qld accent too
He would be PERFECT for Big Brother, just someone the show needs. If it was on channel 10, he would've been contacted by now. Channel 9 would never touch him tho

Do you have the first one? It's so strong hahahahaha
I have friends from Maclean, Byron Bay and Ballina, which even though they're all in NSW, they're far up north enough to have really strong Queensland/conservative accents.

A mix between 1&2, leaning more towards 1 I uncontrollably put a massive okka twang on certain words, I hate it so much
Everyone tells me I have a Sydney accent What on earth is that?
Depends what part of Sydney for the most part Sydney is very generic, less drawl than other states.
There's 3 types, broad (Steve Irwin, Crocodile Dundee, Kath and Kim) general (what most of us speak) and cultivated (Cate Blancett and the likes) The broad accent is it's thickest in Darwin/far north QLD. As you work your way down through NSW, VIC it becomes more generic and ends up in SA with the cultivated. There's a lot of vowel swapping between states too.
I'd kill for a British accent, it's so perfect I'm taking vocal lessons atm, goodbye straya, your twang won't be missed

Yas! Where can I sign up to these lessons?!
Well, my accent is kind of poshy and it seems like I an stuck up but thats just how I talk I love everyone (except bogans )
I was born in Victoria but I've lived in Queensland for about 11 years now. That mixed with my "gay" (I don't know what else to refer to it as) accent makes me sound like a complete mess
