Sure it is a couple days early, but in honor of Valentines Day, we had to do a special list. This is my list of top ANTI-Valentines Day songs. Enjoy. Regular countdown follows behind it.
F**k Love countdown (really just the first 10 that came to mind. There are many others.)
10. No Doubt- "Ex-Girlfriend"
9. The Smiths- "Girlfriend In A Coma" (or quite a few other songs by them)
8. Pet Shop Boys- "What Have I Done to Deserve This?"
7. Nine Inch Nails- "Something I Can Never Have"
6. J. Geils Band- "Love Stinks"
5. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts- "I Hate Myself for Loving You"
4. Three Days Grace- "(I Hate) Everything About You"
3. Alanis Morissette- "You Oughta Know"
2. Kelly Clarkson- "Since You Been Gone"
1. Eminem- "Kim"
Regular countdown:
10. Staind- "All I Want" (5th week peak 3) (-3)
9. My Chemical Romance- "Desolation Row" (DEBUT)
8. RED- "Death of Me" (5th week peak 3) (-4)
7. Blue October- "Dirt Room" (2nd week peak 7) (+3)
"Set to Fail" is absolutely filled with awesome, hence its more awesome (and fitting) name, "Set to Rack", so, if Metallica's not #1, I can live with this.
I have rarely ever missed an update, but with my busy schedule, I have had simply no time to do this. I'm over a month behind and I will try to sort out the details of my countdown as it comes to stats as I decide what to do. Obviously, "All Nightmare Long" is automatically retired as it only had one week left when I stopped updating. I'm also retiring "Use Somebody" as I think it would have hit 10 weeks if I was updating. Every other song that is still on my countdown today as it was on 2/22 will receive 4 weeks credit. New entries will receive between 1 and 4 weeks credit depending on when I think they would have debuted. I don't keep track as I go along so I do not have updates for previous weeks.
Therefore here we go with the current chart...Stats included for only the ones I'm sure of.
10. U2- "Magnificent" (DEBUT)
9. Lamb of God- "Set To Fail" (8th week peak 1 [x2])
