Have the outskirts of the storm reached southern Ontario yet. It's been raining for days now (although pretty lightly, and the rain stopped this morning, but it's still super cloudy and wet).
Wind strength doesn't mean anything.. It will have winds like a Cat 2 when it's complete.. But winds mean nothing when it comes to size, pressure, and snow.. Because of how big it is, it will cause alot more damage.. Plus it's hitting a more populated area too, so that also factors into the damage.. There is a huge amount of snow being dropped in WV etc.. No Snow in Katrina.. The pressure is almost at the same level as Katrina, and Hurricanes power are factored by pressure.. This is worse than Katrina..
Can we not start the devastation olympics until after the thing actually happens? Keep in mind that it's about more than the storm itself with these things... if any of these cities end up hurt the way New Orleans was I'll eat my phone.
