Disturbia was never her biggest song. l mean, even Don't Stop the Music was bigger internationally. It had over 90 million views on YouTube BEFORE VEVO ever existed.
I agree that it is the second most remembered song from that era, though.

Disturbia was her biggest selling single ever for....awhile if I'm not mistaken. Actually, according to the receipts Disturbia was her best selling single up until like 2010. It's now her 3rd best selling single behind Love The Way You Lie and We Found Love (2 other ChrisT inspired singles)

The whole point is that the incident gave Rihanna depth as a character and her music as a pop artist. Can you imagine if Beyonce or Katy or Gaga or any other popstar tried with the melodramatic relationship songs? We would all roll our eyes in disbelief. Rihanna can pull it off convincingly because it comes as autobiographical and real b/c we all know she lived it.

Umbrella is by far the most remembered. Take a Bow is 2nd, Don't Stop the Music 3rd. Disturbia is like 4th.
