Besides the fact that all four of these artists are my four favorite artists of the moment, they are included in my avatar because of the following:

All four of these artists each represent a different aspiration of mine and are significant to me:

Kanye represents how I want to be confident. He is someone who is confident and isn't afraid to speak their mind, which are traits that I really respect, but lack in my life.

Gaga represents how I want to be unique. She is one of the most creative artists in the industry today, and stands out from the crowd. That is something I really seek in my life.

Madonna represents how I want to be respected. She is a major icon in the industry and is a pop legend. Respect is something I continuously search for in my life, as I feel as though what I say is not important.

Drake represents how I want to be perceived. He is someone who is generally accepted by others as seen in his current music career. Although this can be a "superficial" trait, it is still something that I seek in my life.

I chose those particular music videos from each artist for much simpler reasons:

Kanye looks epic in the "Power" video.
Gaga's part in the "Bad Romance" video has always been my favorite part in the song.
Madonna's "Ray of Light" is iconic and I love the nostalgia of it.
Drake's "Take Care" is current and his best video to date.

I believe that my avatar stands out among the many avatars of atrl for the following reasons:
1. It is a compilation avatar
I can only honestly think of one member who has a compilation, and even then my avatar is unique from their's because mine is a compilation of music videos.

2. It includes hip-hop artists (2 for that matter)
It is a well known fact that atrl does not have a large urban fanbase. I would estimate 75%+ avatars on atrl do not include a hip-hop artist.

3. It really has a deeper meaning behind it
As explained above, I chose those particular artists because they truly mean something to me. Most avatars on atrl contain something much simpler (one scene from a Music Video, a random artist pic, etc.)

Avatars are a very easy way to showcase who you are on atrl, and I believe that my avatar really shows who I am. Thank you.

Not sure. I've only ever extensively looked through Cycle 7 and onwards (all the ones Matty hosted). The rest I just sifted through since I couldn't take the messy quick links in the OP. Okay okay okay.

So in my sociology of law class, we were talking about Fast Food Nation, Supersize Me, and other things that deal with the law and culture. The professor asks for opinions, and one girl mentions a comment and mentions the ghetto. Then, out of the blue, the black girl in the back who doesn't pay attention raises her hand, and asks "Um, what does she mean by ghetto..." All hell brakes loose. The girl who made the ghetto comment is says how she didn't mean offense. Then the guy next to me says something about driving through a part of town, or something like that. He was like, "does that mean I'm ghetto." And then says something about J. Lo. Another girl puts an end to it, by saying how we should move on. While this is going on, the teacher was looking lost as f***. Mind you that this is college.

So then, with 15 minutes left in the class, he proceeds to go into the damn class presentations for the day, that he should have done at the beginning of class. The whole presentation thing is B.S. There was no actual presenting. He would just ask the presenters to explain s*** the author did, and they gave little information. One of the presenters didn't say s**t at all! The girl who did all the talking was like, "Um...yeah, you know...He did this, and...." I was just sitting there the whole time like lord have mercy.

So class ends and I bump into the girl who started all the commotion. I asked her what happened, you went off in class, yadda yadda yadda. And she responds with, "You're in my class? The sociology one? (Mind you that we have talked about stuff that went in class previous times) Well, I don't pay attention in class, all I do is tweet, so when I heard ghetto, I was like 'what do you mean by ghetto...' I didn't even know what he [the teacher] was talking about. What we were talking about?" I then proceed to explain to her what happened, and she was still confused about what the discussion in class was about. So after that we went our separate ways, and here I am.

I already somewhat planned what I was gonna say, and I'm going to try my hardest to keep it brief (though you guys should know I love to ramble, just like in my application, btw in my application I really just did that in a few minutes I was so speedy I seriously was typing a lot but I really made some great points that I hope you all agreed with.
