Summer 2012 was everything tbh. Glad You Came, Starships, What Makes You Beautiful, As Long As You Love Me, Where Have You Been, etc were PERFECT Summer songs.
I remember bopping out to this until I realized I might as well just listen to "Last Friday Night." Katy's is essentially the same song but at least it doesn't feature Amy's HORRID rapping.
Summer 2012 really was a good time in pop music aside from almost all those songs you just listed. Miles better than summer 2013.
I remember starting to stan for Kimbra when she had like a few hundred fans on Facebook. And now she has two Grammys and a number one hit. I'm such a tastemaker.
I remember bopping to Usher - Looking 4 Myself, Justin Bieber - Believe, Azealia Banks - 212, Rihanna - Talk That Talk, Fun - Some Nights, etc all throughout Summer 2012. Like 2012 is giving me 90's teas rn, such a good year.
