Sandra was great in Gravity and it was a fantastic film, but I can't help think of how Jodie Foster circa early 2000s might have tackled the role Her acting in Contact was better and she's just MADE to play that kind of part.

But then we needed someone who looked youthful yet mature and Jodie is a bit too old now She slayed regardless, I wouldn't be totally shocked at another Best Actress Oscar.

MLJ and FTM showed her trademark voice and her sheer endless star power can co-lead to them being Top3 of the biggest hits of their respective years they were released. Also, she helped making The Voice the leading talent show in America since AI, its impact is basically comparable to that of it, which started over a decade ago.
