I watched Tusk last night, the big reveal was terribly disgusting to look at and Johnny Depp kinda ruined the movie..but the script was so bad I'm not sure if the sole blame can be placed on him.
That movie would have made for a great short film. Johnny Depp's character rambling on about God knows what for 40% of the film ruined all the potential that was there. It was like, they worked so hard to create all this suspense and build up a weird, messed up story and then it all just hit a brick wall 3/4 through when Johnny arrived.
I just watched Mulholland Drive and it was I guess it's more of a psychological thriller than a horror but it was a mess. I can't decide if I loved it or if I hated it
First time poser here, but HUGE horror fan. Halloween is my favorite horror series, and in my opinion John Carpenter's Halloween is the best horror movie ever made. Just wondering if anyone here has seen All Hallows' Eve? It's a (very very obviously) low budget film with a central story that follows the "found tapes" trend similar to VHS. On halloween night a babysitter finds a mysterious tape that was slipped into one of the kid's bags that contains a series of disturbing tapes. The movie itself is very low budget with some decent but mostly bad acting. However, the main villain of the movie, Art the Clown, is quite possibly one of THE best done horror villains since Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, or Freddy Kruger. His appearance is CHILLING, especially for people who fear clowns. I would LOVE to see a big budget slasher centering around Art. It would be phenomenal. Anyways, I am about to watch Babadook, as I have heard great things about it.

I loved everything besides the ending... I know that's basically the most important part but whatever. I laughed irl when Billy Ray Cyrus showed up
