My local radio station has been playing this quite a bit, to be honest. Already have heard it 5 times since it's release, and I haven't even been in the car that much.
It might be because there's a strong Latin community in my city, and so they're here for Shakira.
Ya'll needa know that Rihanna does not do promo like that. She's not about to come back to the U.S just to promote Shak's song and tbh the point of the collab was probably to help Rih in Latin America and Shakira in the U.S so she is benefiting from it.
Rih doesn't even promote her own singles ya'll, it's not happening. I really wanan see this performed at least ocne though.

Shakira and Rihanna have the same manager, a promo slot is more than likely. Rihanna also promotes her collabs that are major, like Love the Way You Lie. This is major. The only reason she didn't promote The Monster was because 1.) It didn't need it, 2.) It was their 4th collab.

She also didn't promote Take Care or Bad Remix (didn't even shoot a video despite acting so hyped to be on the song.). I'm just saying I doubt the promo is coming any time soon and not to expect more than one or two performances. If I'm wrong I'd love to be pleasantly surprised but I feel Shakira might be doing most of her performances without Rih.

Take Care was the title track and also didn't need the promo. Radio snatched it up right away. The Bad Remix was just that; a remix. Not much hype behind it, at least from others that are not Rihanna.
Promo is coming, and I'm sure Rih will be in at least 1 of the performances. That's all it'll really need if the spot is big enough. It's not like she's on tour anymore, she has a bit more time even with R8.
The verses are strong but the chorus is really weak. The chorus reminds me of Not Myself Tonight, not catchy and awkward to sing along to. The iTunes peak is quite scary too, with the power of Rihanna it only flew as high as #8. Let's see how things turn for this. It's quite a bop tho.
