Anaconda's shaping up to be a huge hit for Nicki, & I'm so happy for her. I still don't agree with the album coming out in November, when the lead single came out in May & the second single dropping early August.
Although, in her defense the hype for her album has really just now started due to Anaconda's notability. If this had been released as the first single, back in May then we wouldn't be waiting til November for the release of this album.
I trust Nicki and her strategies tbh. This album will be THE Pinkprint.
It's just that Anaconda seems to have a bigger impact, & is really pushing the era more than PNP did.
I think she was always going to release the album in Q4 (even when PNP came out she said she would release another single), so no matter what the lead single was, it was still gonna come in Q4.
I was a bit worried about the album before, but now that Anaconda's already doing better than PNP. I'm no longer worried, just excited about this ground breaking performance & what ever else that's coming before the album.

She badged about the intro being for the album, which I'm surprised nobody talked about in here.
I'm so excited. A VMA performance is so much more interesting then any other award show and it's really the one award show where you can do anything. Not to mention it's her first time
