Simplicity isn't an issue. But IMO, it was ineffective, awkward, and clearly put together in 2 seconds.

California King Bed was really simple, for example, but really great visually and somewhat entertaining.

The Edge of Glory video is one of my favorites and is clearly an homage to the 80's like the song is. I'm glad she didn't go overboard with it and let the song speak for itself.
