I've been waiting forever for this trailer this movie has a 100% on RT right now with 16 reviews, it's supposed to be one of the best horrors of the 2000's (hype beyond The Babadook). The trailer looks kinda low budget but the concept is fresh and I'll trust the reviews
I watched The Guest and it SLAYED Adam Wingard can do no wrong, now he and his writer have two flawless movies under their belt. It had just the right level of cheese that any movie should have and the ending was amazing.
Is it just me or if a movie does not involve anything paranormal it's not scary ? Like, what's scary about a person with mask chasing, killing/torturing people. This is more like a thriller to me than horror.
I just watched The Guest and Maika Monroe ****ing KILLED it in that (as did Dan Stevens). However, the movie was let down by a horribly predictable ending with an insanely cheesy "final battle." Hopefully this one provides Maika with a better vessel to showcase her prowess.
I also watched Annabelle, which I liked but found predictable, and both Insidious movies which were AMAZING.
I think Insidious is really underrated I see lots of people saying is **** is one fo my fave franchises in the past years. I know it looks stupid af but for some reason the scene with the red demon gives me the chills
Anabelle was one of the most disappointing movies this year IMO. I expected a lot but it just seems like a bunch of movies put into one rushed mess.
Just saw Red State. I expected a little "more" from it... it took too long to hit off. A little more action and story would've gone a long way. But the last 10 minutes were so ridiculous and satisfying
Babadook was very interesting to say the least and I did enjoy it which is rare for scary movies lately. For some reason, I'm hyped to see The Lady In Black 2. The first one creeped me a little which is hard to do. I actually was not impressed with Annabelle. I think it was too predicatable and how she came to be just was not well thought out to me but that just imo.
The only part I enjoyed was the elevator/stairs scene. The rest of it was so uneventful and boring, and the long zooms on the doll annoyed me because I expected its eyes to move or something.
Yeah I agree, I watched it online and I just wanted the whole scene to be over asap. Overall it was very disappointing/predictable IMO
NOOO!!! that's really sad to hear rec 1 and rec 2 are so damn good hell ecven rec 2 was better than the 1st one how could they ruin such a flawless frnachise? I've never watched the 3rd since most people say is tragic.
