My thoughts are that they don't have any time for each other, which would break the relationship since you need as much time as you can get in the beggining parts of a relationship.

Gaga is one of the biggest superstars in the world... All her time goes to Touring, Writing, Producing, Singing, Promoting, and now even Acting. And on top of that Taylor has an acting job too. They probably just never found a good time to connect and that's why. I hope it was a healthy break up though, not a nasty one
