Same with the "unachievable" #1 hit. Who's to say it won't come? The album has only been out for 9 weeks. Again, this is why the Beyhive gets upset. This is what I mean by overreaching criticism. It's unrealistic to expect her to have it all at once.
You've admitted you're fixated on this #1 hits issue and when we veer off that track, you bring up how we're "talking around the issue". Make up your mind girl.
And BEYONCE is not a Blurred Lines (the album). Different strokes for different folks. Beyoncé's stroke is album sales. She's never been a huge digital single seller.

What I find interesting is that you refuse to acknowledge ageism and sexism exist within the music industry and could play a role in why she is currently declining. Certainly it isn't the only factor, but it is worth noting.
If she were going to have a number 1 single then presumably it would have come by now or some other time during the past seven years (not to say that she won't have another "moment" but it is a bit odd to say the least).
I'm not fixated on a number one single, and again, if you'd like to have discourse about the other challenges that come along with that inside of the context of Beyonce under-performing then I'm all for it.
